I merrily set off to do this zone (took the boat from Embankment to Canary Wharf - it was great), and then realised I didn't have a map, so had no idea where the eggs were supposed to be. In light of that, I think 8 out of 11 is a pretty good result...

Okay, so I basically started this zone with good intentions and then there were people, way too many people, and I just gave up and decided it wasn't worth going back over at a later date. And at least this way I tried all the zones.
Suffice it to say I shall be avoiding Knightsbridge for the foreseeable future.

This one was fun (and a little frustrating) because it involved a lot of wandering round Selfridges - eight of the eggs in this zone were in there, and I couldn't find them all. There were a few on the ground floor but then I got bored and went to get some sweets. The ones outside were a little tricky too, but mostly because I'm not really familiar with the area.

The trouble with having done these a while ago is that I can't remember much about them, except that a) the weather was better than it is right now and b) I did this zone after I came back from Germany.
Excitingly I did finally see the Pelicans in St James' Park - I try to keep an eye out whenever I go, but it wasn't until I was doing this zone that I actually saw them :)
Apologies for the small picture, they were quite far away. And the eggs:

This one drove me MAD. I must have walked around Green Park three or four times and STILL couldn't find them all (I went on two separate days as well!).

NB one of the eggs on the list wasn't there. I don't think it ever appeared tbh (it was the Gilbert and George egg)
Some of my favourit eggs were in this zone. The Fortnum & Mason chocolate egg (second picture) and the case with shirts and ties that was at Turnbull & Asser particularly. And obviously the one that looks like the Gherkin!
